Sources and Acknowledgments: The material on these pages has been gathered over many years, from a wide variety of sources. These include family notes, archival records, personal communications from many people far and wide, and electronic databases. In the case of the latter, attempts have been made to confirm consistency between a variety of sources, but this has not always been possible. I am very grateful to all those who have so willingly shared their knowledge.
  I have not provided citations, or a list of sources, in the various family pages accessible on this site. However, I will be happy to discuss the sources used with any interested researcher; just write to me here.
  I have been introducing some source citations on selected pages since early 2008. Please note that there are still many areas of the site which do not display sources; thus it is especially important to contact me to discuss those situations.
