     George P. Moser was born on 18 December 1809 at Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. He was the son of Philip Moser and Maria Dorothea Bushen. George P. Moser married Sarah Margaret Irwin. George P. Moser died on 3 May 1893 at Moser River, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, Canada, at age 83.2
     
Note: The identification of George P Moser as son of Philip and Maria Dorothea (Bushen) Moser is not proved, but rather a "best guess". Another possibility for his parents would be Leonard and Mary (Currie) Moser, for example.

     Heinrich Moser was born circa 1743/44 at Switzerland. He was the son of Hans Jacob Moser and Anna Maria Zuiflower. Heinrich Moser married Johanna Maria Hirtle, daughter of Michael Hirtle and Maria Bartin, on 11 May 1769 at St. John's Anglican, Lunenburg, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. Heinrich Moser died before October 1817.2
     

     Nova Scotia Archives and Record Management (NSARM) has a virtual exhibit of their collection of examples of German Fraktur created by some of the early settlers. Included amongst these is the Fraktur created by Henry Moser ca 1812.
