     Priscilla Sophia Moser was born circa 1829.² She was the daughter of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry. Priscilla Sophia Moser married Edward George Woodin, son of William H Woodin and Margaret Price, on 24 December 1887 at Halifax, Nova Scotia.³

     Hannah Moser was the daughter of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry. Hannah Moser married (?) Harvey.

     Susanna Moser was the daughter of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry. Susanna Moser married Philip Moser, son of Leonard Moser and Mary E. Currie, on 9 January 1845.

     Matthias Moser was born in 1802 at Moser River, Halifax County, Nova Scotia.¹ He was the son of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry. Matthias Moser married Margaret Sophia Matilda Moser, daughter of George P. Moser and Sarah Margaret Irwin.

     James Moser was born circa 1804. He was the son of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry. James Moser married Margaret Woodin, daughter of William H Woodin and Margaret Price.
     
     I have included the children William, Charles, Alice, and Enos found with James and Margaret in the 1871 Census (Necum Teuch) along with Edward. Charles, who never married, is still with his parents in 1881, and with his widowed mother in 1891 (e.g. see my online transcription of the 1891 Smiths Cove Census).

     It seems quite likely that this James and Margaret should be identified with James Moser, son of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry, and his wife Margaret Woodin; however, I have not yet taken this step.¹
     There is some doubt as to whether the James Moser who married Margaret Woodin is the James Moser, son of Henry Moser & Mary Henneberry.
     
It is also unclear whether this is the "James and Margaret Moser" couple who appear in the 1871 and 1881 Censuses of Necum Teuch, with son Charles. Charles also appears in the 1891 Census for Smiths Cove with his widowed mother Margaret (household #55 in my onlin transcription)

     Update: I have now (5 July 2008) identified the two "James and Margaret" couples. The primary reason for making this assumption is that Charles's mother is reported to be Margaret Woodin on his death certificate in 1935. Charles appears with James and Margaret in the 1871, 1881, and 1891 censuses (only with widowed mother Margaret in 1891).¹

     Philip Moser was the son of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry.

     Henry Moser was the son of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry.

     Anna Maria Zuiflower was born in 1713/14 at Bern, Switzerland. She married Hans Jacob Moser, son of (?) Moser and (?) (?), before 1731/32 at Switzerland. Anna Maria Zuiflower died on 28 April 1771 at Kingsburg, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia.

     Anna Maria LaGarce was born in 1735 at Montbeliard.¹ She married first Casper Schauffelberger on 13 October 1752.² Anna Maria LaGarce married second Johann Jacob Hirtle, son of Michael Hirtle and Maria Bartin, on 11 May 1756 at St. John's Anglican, Lunenburg, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, Anna Maria is the widow of Casper Schauffelberger, Jr., who d. only a little over 3 weeks previously, according to Bell (Vol II, p. 691). Anna Maria LaGarce died on 7 July 1777 at Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. She was buried on 9 July 1777.³

     John Henry Moser was born on 9 January 1817 at Moser River, Halifax County, Nova Scotia. He was the son of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry. John Henry Moser married Margaret Ann MacDonald, daughter of Daniel/Donald McDonald and Elizabeth Haddy, on 11 January 1858 at St. James Anglican Church, Port Dufferin, Halifax County, Nova Scotia.¹ John Henry Moser died on 28 January 1891 at Nova Scotia at age 74.

     Mary Henneberry was born circa 1778 at Eastern Passage, Halifax County, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Michael Henneberry and Catherine Elizabeth Horne. Mary Henneberry married Henry Moser, son of Heinrich Moser and Johanna Maria Hirtle, on 15 April 1798 at St. George's Anglican Church, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Mary Henneberry died after 1851.

     

     Margaret Ann MacDonald was born on 26 December 1835 at Jordan River, Shelburne County, Nova Scotia.^1,2 She was the daughter of Daniel/Donald McDonald and Elizabeth Haddy. Margaret Ann MacDonald married John Henry Moser, son of Henry Moser and Mary Henneberry, on 11 January 1858 at St. James Anglican Church, Port Dufferin, Halifax County, Nova Scotia.³ Margaret Ann MacDonald died on 14 May 1908 at Moser River, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, at age 72.^4,5
     Reported in a family note to be the daughter of Henry and Johanna MacDonald, of Harrigan Cove. Her father may possibly have been called Daniel Henry (or Henry Daniel), but there is no other evidence for this; other sources only use the name Daniel for the son of Alexander MacDonald. There is sufficient other evidence, such as her birth date, and the names of her siblings, that there can be (almost) no doubt that she is indeed the daughter of Daniel. She appeared on the 1891 Census of Moser River, Halifax County, enumerated 8 April 1891. Her children Silas David, Daniel Henry, Albert Wesley, Maria and Margaret Priscilla were listed as living with her.⁶ Margaret Ann MacDonald appeared on the 1901 Census of Smiths Cove, Halifax County , in the household of her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Henry Moser and Margaret Reilly.⁷

     George Richard Shellnutt was born on 4 November 1863 at Nova Scotia.¹ He was the son of Capt. George Francis Shellnutt and Margaret Ann Smith. George Richard Shellnutt married Elizabeth Jane Nelson, daughter of Robert Nelson and (?) Frances, on 12 September 1889 at Onslow, Colchester County, Nova Scotia. George Richard Shellnutt married Margaret Priscilla Moser, daughter of John Henry Moser and Margaret Ann MacDonald, on 30 March 1921 at Necum Teuch, Nova Scotia. George Richard Shellnutt died on 13 January 1941 at Moser River, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, at age 77. He was buried at St. John's Cemetery, Necum Teuch, Nova Scotia.

     Martha (?) married Silas David Moser, son of John Henry Moser and Margaret Ann MacDonald.

     Margaret Reilly was born on 9 January 1874.^1,2 She married Daniel Henry Moser, son of John Henry Moser and Margaret Ann MacDonald.
     Margaret Reilly and Daniel Henry Moser appeared on the 1901 Census of Smiths Cove, Halifax County, enumerated 31 March 1901. Their children John Stanley and Henry Guy were listed as living with them.³ Margaret Reilly and Daniel Henry Moser appeared on the 1911 Census of Smith Cove, Halifax County, enumerated 1 June 1911. Their children John Stanley, (Annie) Margaret and Cecil Riley were listed as living with them.⁴

     Margaret Jane Jewers was born on 22 January 1868 at Ecum Secum, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Ephraim Jewers and Lydia Jane Moser. Margaret Jane Jewers married Albert Wesley Moser, son of John Henry Moser and Margaret Ann MacDonald, in 1894. Margaret Jane Jewers died on 22 March 1898 at age 30.

     Thomas Edwin Powell was born in 1871 at Surrey, England.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas Powell and Mary (?). Thomas Edwin Powell married Maria Moser, daughter of John Henry Moser and Margaret Ann MacDonald, on 21 September 1897.¹ Thomas Edwin Powell died in 1949.

     George Cherry Moser was born in December 1901 at Moser River, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, Canada.² He was the son of Alexander Isaac Moser and Sarah Amelia "Minnie" Maude Cherry.² George Cherry Moser married Dorothy Maria Powell, daughter of Thomas Edwin Powell and Maria Moser, on 21 November 1942 at St. Giles Presbyterian, Moser River, Halifax County, Nova Scotia.¹ George Cherry Moser died on 28 August 1986 at Halifax, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, Canada, at age 84. He was buried at Old cemetery, Moser River, Halifax County, Nova Scotia.
     George Moser appeared on the 1911 Census of Smith Cove, Halifax County, in the household of his parents, Sarah Amelia "Minnie" Maude Cherry and Alexander Isaac Moser.²

     John Urban Smith was born on 9 November 1896 at Necum Teuch, Nova Scotia.¹ He was the son of Thomas Edmund Smith and Margaret Eliza Hartling. John Urban Smith married Mary Margaret Powell, daughter of Thomas Edwin Powell and Maria Moser, on 14 January 1925 at The Manse, Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia.¹ John Urban Smith died on 25 March 1960 at age 63.
     

     The identification of this John Urban Smith, son of Thomas and Margaret, as the John Smith who married Mary Powell is somewhat speculative and needs verification.
